Statement of Core Values
At Grace Alive! we express our gratitude and love to God for the grace and mercy He has shown us through Christ by having God-focused, God-honoring, and God-pleasing relationships with Him, each other, and our communities. By the empowering of the Holy Spirit we can honor God through:
P rayer: We actively seek to depend on our Lord through faithful, open and personal communication with God continually pursuing wisdom, guidance, strength, protection, and provision.
O utreach: We actively seek to reach outward both locally and globally through service, meeting needs and sharing the Gospel of Christ in order to build relationships with others, God, and ourselves.
Worship: We actively seek to worship God with a passionate heart through: music, praise, prayer, serving, cheerful giving of our time & resources, godly character and lifestyle choices.
E quipping: We actively seek to develop relationships that enable people to become growing followers of Jesus who are Bible-based, obedient, loving, Spirit-filled servants of Christ.
Relationships: We actively seek to follow Jesus' example by living lives marked with biblical love for one another. We seek to develop warm loving relationships that help meet spiritual, emotional and physical needs, practice biblical conflict resolution, generously extend grace and forgiveness to one another, and encourage faith, growth, and service.
Vision Statement
We seek to become a church that is active in sharing our faith so that we may know all the good things we have in Christ. We will reach out to Albany, surrounding communities and the world making disciples and planting churches that do the same.
